MAINTENANCE

SCOTT'S FAMILY AUTO CENTER IS COMMITTED TO BEING YOUR FIRST CHOICE WHEN THINKING ABOUT PERFORMANCE AND MAINTENANCE FOR YOUR VEHICLE. WE ARE ALSO COMMITTED TO PROVIDING YOU WITH NOT ONLY THE BEST SERVICE, BUT ENSURING 100% SATISFACTION THAT IT WAS DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.

      TUNING & BRAKES

Your braking system is the most important system on your vehicle when it comes to your family’s safety. Don’t put off having it inspected and by all means, if you hear any squealing or unusual sounds or have a spongy sensation when you step on your brakes, take your vehicle in right away for an inspection.

Tip: It is much safer to have a professional do the brake inspection and brake maintenance for you as they have the training, equipment and tools to do the job efficiently.

      VEHICLE SERVICING

Regular servicing is important to prevent breakdowns and extend the life of your vehicle. We recommend a servicing every six months to keep your vehicle running smoothly. If your vehicle is under warranty, our mechanics are fully qualified to provide a logbook service that meets the manufacturer’s requirements and maintains your new vehicles warranty.

Tip: We will never perform extra repair work on your vehicle without contacting you first, which means you can be sure of a fair price for your service with no hidden extra costs.

      WHEELS & SUSPENSION

Your vehicles suspension is an area that is far more important than many people realise. It doesn't only affect how comfortable and smooth the ride is, although this is important, but it is also a vital aspect of your vehicles safety. Without a properly maintained and functioning suspension you can suffer adverse effects of on your vehicles handling, braking and acceleration, as well as unnecessary tire wear and other issues. Making sure suspension systems are properly maintained is therefore vital.

Tip: If you don't have a well maintained suspension system you are not as safe as you should be and are putting yourself and others at risk.

Also, check your tire pressure regularly - once a week is ideal. Bad tire pressures can affect fuel economy, handling and comfort.
